All files, including PS CS4, were transferred from Mac laptop OS10.11.6 to my new iMac OS10.13.6. When I click on the PS icon in iMac OS10.13.6 I get this message,"Licensing for this product has stopped working", and the error code is 150:30. The serial number of my PS disk is "1330-0013-6399-2011-8136-2724. How go I open PS CS4 in my iMac?

This blog post addresses in non-technical English a lot of the problems you might encounter trying to run such an old version of Photoshop in High Sierra, and all the workarounds the author found for each of them. Maybe it will be of help to you to get started.

If your able to edit your post, please remove your serial number as this is a public forum and now everyone in the world has your serial and you may not be able to activate cs4 any longer.

As a side note to the adobe forum staff, does anyone monitor this forum?

You can't just transfer, copy or migrate adobe applications on macs cause all kinds of problems may occur including licensing issues.

You need to use the cs4 installer to put an adobe application on a new mac.
