Photoshop: Tools don't work correct and application shuts down when put to sleep (Mac 10.6.7 - Wacom)

Hi, I've been having a strange problem with my photoshop CS4 for a while now, so I need some advice.

I run photoshop on a mac, OS X 10.6.7, and I use a Wacom intuos4 tablet. When I use the pen from my tablet on photoshop, things run fine. As soon as I use my mouse, certain tools (like the crop, selection and zoom tools) don't work. For example, the zoom tool will only zoom into the top left hand corner of an image. The crop tool will only crop random shapes from the left hand corner, even if I click and drag from the opposite side of an image. Also when I run Photoshop after I put my mac on sleep, it would shut down right away and I'd have to restart the computer for it to work again. My mouse works fine with all other adobe products, and all other products don't have this shut down problem.

So I uninstalled then re-installed Photoshop, and for a while things worked fine. But after installing an update the same issues are happening. So I'm assuming there's a problem with an update, should I uninstall the updates (and if so how do I do that), or is there another solution?

Most likely you need to update the Wacom drivers.
