Can we possibly have the ability to adjust the tone curve so that we can bring down the maximum white so that it is darker grey, by pulling the top right point of the curve down.
This would darken the whites without having to export to an external editing suite.
The ability to add a 'cut-off' line from the top horizontal that would allow a bleached out look from any point on the curve and above, without the dazzling whiteness, but instead, a greying out of the highlights.
A similar function to the lower portion of the curve would allow for the black to become lighter grey, giving a faded photo look.
With split-toning, it could allow for some very creative black & white work, or even colour.
A local brush with this high and low-shelf cut-off would add for even more creativity within the application itself.
