Toggle Edit Effect Missing for Brush, Gradient, and Radial in New ACR

The ability to toggle the effect of Brush, Gradient, and Radial edits is missing in the new ACR.  I need the ability to toggle the effect of all adjustments, including brush, gradient, and radial.

Suggestion:  pressing and holding the eye icon on the other panels toggles the effect of edits made in that panel.  All Adobe needs to do is add an eye icon when the brush, gradient, and radial panels are open and make them work the same way.

Further suggestion:  There are small white dots next to each icon on the vertical right window (Edit, Crop, Brush, etc.) indicating that an adjustment has been made in that panel.  Adobe could make them work the same way as the eye icons - press and hold shows the image without adjustments in that panel.  Release, adjustments are restored.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Toggle Edit Effect Missing for Brush, Gradient, and Radial in New ACR.

Note: I posted this as a problem, but it was changed to an idea.  It's not an idea - it's a bug.

Once again, Adobe has changed this from a Problem, as I reported it, to an Idea.  It's not an idea - it's a design flaw in the new ACR.  This capability existed in the previous ACR and is missing in the "new and improved" ACR.

While I do agree that the new ACR is truly an improvement (despite all of the complaints), the ability to toggle the effect of brush, radial, and gradient edits is required.

This is an Idea - aka a feature request. You are asking for functionality other than as-designed.  Regardless of whether or not you perceive this as a problem, it needs to be categorized this way to work with our internal bug/feature tracking.

Rikk,

Thanks for your reply.  I have read and understand the pages at the links you provided.

I am still disappointed that Adobe decided, by design, to remove functionality that existed in a previous release.  I hope there will be serious consideration to restore this functionality in a future release.
