Lightroom is becoming a popular choice for creating timelapse videos. Timelapse users are finding a healthy if fragmented 3rd party eco-system of add on products that make LR more friendly to this process. That said, if Adobe were to add capabilities, our reliance on 3rd party products could be lessoned and compatibility would be improved. Here's a list:

1) More Slideshow module templates supporting a variety of framerates.
2) More video presets supporting a variety of framerates and video resolutions (including the emerging 1620p, 2160p and 2304p standards)
3) Auto-deflickering
4) Keyframing (which allows for slow transitions over a period of time across a large number of frames.
5) A Timelapse Module dedicated to timelapse needs

FWIW, LRTimelapse is an incredible tool for some of these (if you aren't familiar with it already).

Lightroom 1 . 3 or 5.6 or any this company who is doing the software ie ADOBE
Is a real mess and that they need to sort this out, Not only does it improve the performance of there product but also is a selling point for us photographers who like to take our photography to another level the only program that I have seen worth having a look at is the panolapse360, Which be WARNED has its limits also set as to how many frames you can adjust before you need to BUY the Licence another situation of being held to Ransom why these people do not give you a full version is bloody stupid and that like BUYING car with No engine you can look at it but you can not drive it away for a test same as in all of these products ADOBE AND ALSO panolapse360, Are Not looking further than there nose
well this is my comments and what I have seen and herd on the phone with ADOBE UK . Thanks you can contact me in facebook or twitter or www.troypointerphotography.com or search me in google
have a nice day

The engineers have made it clear to me that LR will not gain timelapse tools. Therefore, better metadata integration with LRTimelapse would be my request, at this point. In particular, when one brings images into LR and develops them, all of these adjustments will be lost when the same images are brought into and initialized within LRTimelapse. Would be great if we could perform this initialization from within Lightroom upon import. Thanks!
