Lightroom Classic: Thumbnails not updating

Regarding new 7.3.1 update and release of Lr Classic. I have recently been having issues with the image updating when flicking through thumbnails. If I move to next photo then it often doesn’t update in the main screen area (stays stuck on the last photo I was on). I have to go to another photo and then go back for it to show me the actual selected photo. Also. when using the crop tool in the new Lightroom update, it flashes quickly to the last photo you cropped for a fraction of a second before going to your actual selected photo?

The Crop tool issue is know and should be fixed in the next update.

The thumbnail walking not updating your workspace view is something I haven't seen large numbers of reports regarding.  Standard troubleshooting would dictate you try updating your video driver to the latest version your card manufacturer offers. If it is still present, after updating your drivers, then a preference reset is in order.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.

Does the behavior continue after resetting the preferences?
