Since the new PS Update ( 21.2) the new PS Icon on my taskbar is no longer displayed correctly.
If someone has the same problem or knows how to fix it, please let me know.
Here is a picture of it:

The icon is fine on my Mac, although I've seen on the Windows super dark taskbar, it's not as clear. However, this is really bad. If it were me, I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling from the CC app. It looks like it didn't download properly. But that's just a suggestion. I don't know what's causing it to almost totally black out.

On the plus side, you can always just look for the big gap in your taskbar and know that's for PS. LOL

I reinstalled PS but unfortunately it did not fix it.
I also tried removing it from the taskbar and repin the app but it seems like i have to look for the big gap in my taskbar for now.

Thank you anyway Christen.

Looks like you installed Premier Pro. Did you intend to do that? Video editing program from Adobe...

Windows icons, even on taskbar, can be set to any icon image you desire. I change almost all of mine to make them work best for me. Change icon .ico in same way you change icon for a folder. Make your own .ico or find many free via www.

This is reminiscent of a problem reported on this forum, blacked out areas when moving or copying or other tasks. I read a workaround that seems to work, quoted herewith: ""The workaround is to make sure "Legacy Compositing" under Preferences > Performance is unchecked. (Note: It's unchecked by default)""

Just a hunch that your issue might be related, weird as it may seem.

    Thank you for your help.
I changed it like you explained.

I'm still disapointed, because I dont have the original icon now but it should be fine for now.

I also find it strange that the icon for my Desktop shortcut works fine but when pining it to my taskbar, for some reason it does not.

Try closing PS and reopening. ICONS are all different with the latest update...

My observation is that the SAAS  model is good and bad. Good things are that we all get newest (if we choose to do so) with no fat upgrade cost. The bad seems to be that changes happen frequently and there has been an escalation of the number of unexpected negative consequences, in part due to what appears to be hasty release of changes.
