Elements 12: "There was an error opening your printer"

Elements 12: If I try to print a photo to a secondary printer (not default), it works the first time, but when I try to print the same photo again, I get, "There was an error opening your printer...." Closing the program and opening it, I can then print ONE time again. If I make the secondary printer the default, it works fine. This worked fine with Elements 10 and Vista 64, but now I have Elements 12 and Win7.

Ok, so something is wrong with your printer driver. Have you checked with the printer maker to see if they have updated drivers?

I visited the Epson web site and downloaded the latest driver for the Epson Stylus Photo R2000 and then tested again. Same result. If I make the Photo printer the default, all is well. If another printer is the default, I can print once (Elements 12) and the second time I try to print I get the error message. Since the printer works fine when it's the default (and works with other programs), I can't see a driver problem. But, I tried the latest driver just in case.

I have the same issue as Lynn. Same printer, Win 7 & PE12. Never had the problem until I upgraded from PE9 to PE12.
