Hi Adobe team
I always miss a tool which can overlay or multiply (etc) a layer from a specific area. like dodge and burn tool there should be a "layer blend mode tool" which can blend current layer to it self or current layer to bottom layer
sorry for week English vocabulary . hope you got it, if no please contact me i can share my idea with images.

You can't blend more than adjacent layers (or each layer blends with the results from below).

What you are describing sounds like you want painting in layer masks - which is already available.

no no you didn't get my point, i know every possibility to do this job .. with layer copies and layer masks for each copy and change blend mode of each copy or bla bla,.
i am not asking how to do this job i am giving you an idea that if we have a brush tool which can overlay a layer like dodge and burn tool,, and then on the same layer we can multiply some areas and then on same layer we can screen some area with that tool ... it would be very helpful for painters and photographers.

You cannot have more than one blend mode per layer.

I suspect the Clone Stamp Tool with an offset of 0px for X and Y and set to the intended Blend Mode might do what the OP meant.

That would not seem to be the most prudent method, using an Adjustment Layer set to the Blend Mode makes more sense than a copy of the Layer.
