Greetings Akash,

I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and I am able to focus in the Lightroom Camera App.  If I tap on something 100 meters away and then recompose to something 1 meter away, the subject is blurry. If I tap on the 1 meter object, it comes into focus.

I’m talking about the telephoto lens in a close macro situation where it won’t focus but when I use the Apple camera app it focuses perfectly.

How close are we talking here? I am able to focus automatically to about 4" distance from subject using the Lightroom Camera.

The closest distance the normal Apple camera app allows for the telephoto lens to focus but that’s not the case for the Lightroom camera . I tried manual focusing too it just won’t work . I tried reinstalling it’s the same story and I’m pretty sure it’s not my hardware problem or it would have not worked for the Apple camera app too . I think it’s something to do with the third party apps not having a good handshake with Apple hardware. Please do get it checked . Mine is a iPhone 11 Pro 64 gig model

Again, how close are we talking here? I need to know (inches/cm)
  • How close with the Apple Camera autofocus in Telephoto?
  • How close will the Lightroom Camera App focus?
