The double click bug! It's driving me insane, I've done some research and it's a big problem. Basically, Photoshop now has a problem doing a complete double click, so when I'm using the lasso tool while creating art, when I complete my selection it'll double click too quick and ruin it. I also can't type new layers quickly and efficiently, basically anything that needs a good double click in Photoshop won't go right.

I did find a link while researching that could help, it's a plugin that's called White Window Workaround plug-in, but it was for Mac, and I'm Windows 7..

Here it is:

Can someone please help me fix this, I can't work smoothly in Photoshop, I've uninstalled my whole adobe suite and reinstalled, but still happening, I don't get it. Pleeeeease help.

What exactly is going wrong?
What do you mean by "double click too quick"?

At first I thought it was a fault with just the lasso tool, but it's actually the double click funtion, just when using my tablet and drawing a selection, when you need to complete the selection with a double click (or tap with pen) it completes prematurely and loses the selection.

And another example is when creating a new layer, you double click on the layer name to type what it's called. But when I do that now, it won't select the whole name with a double click. And this becomes very frustrating when you want to work quickly and efficiently, especially when using the polygon lasso tool, it slows down my art process a lot.

I've done the research on this and found out it's a bug in Photoshop. I just haven't found a solution to fix it. I can't even do a reinstall to reset everything, the problem seems to stick.
