When the Brush Presets window is opened from its panel icon, as shown here...

It exhibits a buggy behavior, wherein sometimes clicking on one preset selects another preset. I noticed this when using the Clone Stamp Tool.

Which version of Photoshop are you using?
Which OS version?

Sorry, I should have included that info. I'm using Windows 8.1, and Photoshop CC 2015 (the About panel says 20150529.r.88 x64).

Are you using a mouse or a stylus for selecting the preset? Is the one selected adjacent to the one chosen? Is it possible to capture a screen recording of the behavior?

I'm using a mouse. As you can see in my screen capture, the preset selected is nowhere near the one chosen.

I've narrowed down the circumstances in which the bug occurs. It doesn't seem to matter which tool I use, because it happens with the Clone Stamp as well as the Brush Tool. It only happens in the panel at the right edge of the screen, not in the menu opened by right-clicking inside the canvas. And it only happens when I hover over the preset long enough to see the tool tip. But, under those conditions, it happens consistently.

Here is my screen capture: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3gXo... (The moment I click on a preset is when the scroll bar suddenly jumps.)

Hope this helps.
