The setting to disable the home screen on launch is not longer being respected by the app. This was already logged as a bug 2 years ago for v19.

Now on v21.0.2 running on Windows 10 1908 we're back again not having the ability to turn off this very annoying feature.

I am not able to reproduce this problem. If I uncheck "Auto show the Home Screen" and quit and relaunch the app, the home screen is not displayed - and all I can see is the tool bar and panels.

I would recommend contacting support directly so they can work with you to try and troubleshoot: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

Is it still shown as unchecked in the preferences after relaunching?
In case it isn't there might be an issue with writing to the preferences file.

it looks like it was a UAC issue, I messed with permissions and now it's working.

Looks like the user is several versions behind, with 21.0.2. Could update resolve his issue?

It might. I'm not seeing an active membership or active trial, either, so that might be the problem.
