I have tried all the things, like Preferences changing, tool reset, character resets etc., Please help me its very frustrating!

Double check the resolution of your document, and make sure that you aren't confusing physical units (points, inches) with pixels for the size of the text.

No I am not! my current resolution setting is 72 pixels/Inches. That's the default one and suppose to work correctly, right?

And check the units you entered for the text size.

Hi Jhonny,

In the Character Palette, from the flyout menu, click Reset Character. That should reset all text attributes. If you click File > New and choose Default Photoshop Size, the image should (roughly) fill your screen and text should be easily legible.

If that's not the case, let us know and we can follow up.

Thanks,
David
