Photoshop CS6 (in Masteredition) on Mac OS X 10.8.2:

Keyboard errors in Text editing: Cursor keys and delete and some other keyboard inputs cmd+cursor don't work - no change in cursor-position when pressing left or right or up and down

This is the same with Blutooth Keyboard and Built-In Keyboard on MBP Retina.

Hi Tobias,

Are you still experiencing this problem? What other software are you using for your keyboard, mouse, or other I/O devices? There are often intercept controls in these applications which remain active, even when you're using another application.

Please let me know, so I can help you look into this further,
Thanks,
David

Hello Kyoko, hello David,

yes, it seems to be a similar behaviour as described here: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh...
And yes I'm still experiencing this problem. I have no software for any i/o device, it is all controlled by OS X. And it is just in Photoshop. And sometimes (i cannot reproduce this, but happens again and again) when I click a Link in a browser or a ui-element in Mail, Photoshop pops up from the background and the mouse cursor position is different from before. I dont know if this has anything to do with it.

thanks for all replies so far

What OS X version?

That sounds like the OS is sending events to the wrong application or UI context. That or Photoshop has invisible windows floating over all applications (that we don't know about).

Actually, Chris might be on to something. Your bluetooth keyboard has its own set of controls in the System Preferences, right? It sounds like (and I have seen before with other users that) one or more controls for keyboard-control apps like this could be squashing your ability to get commands to PS. Could you look into this? I would also be willing to do a web-facilitated meeting to try and troubleshoot this with you. Ping me back and I'll try to set something up. I'm on Pacific time.

It could be the arrow problem, but it doesn't really sound like it. This really sounds like commands are being rerouted and/or put on a stack incorrectly.

Thanks,
David
