I am using the latest version of Photoshop CC. While trying to add text, the text is not visible. I have an image as background and on top of it I have a hue-saturation & black-white adjustment layers. While trying to add a text layer or place embedded a psd file it is not visible.

What specific version of Photoshop are you using?
What OS version?

The adjustment layers could be making the text hard to see, as could you current choice of colors. Or you might be hitting a video card driver bug.

Thanks for the reply Chris.

I am using Photoshop CC 2014.1.0 Release and the OS is OS X 10.9.4.
The issue is solved. After typing in the text I clicked Cmd+T and a small box was seen. When I pulled that the text became visible.

Could you tell me why the text was so small? The image was cropped to 1280x720.

Thanks Again.

The text is whatever size you specified it to be in the text tool options.

Alisha, it sounds like you created a text box which was too small to display even a single character of text.  When that happens, Photoshop displays nothing.  When you resized the text box, there was then enough room within the bounding to display the text and it appeared.  Does that make sense?
