Hi guys,

Just suddenly, I type a sentence that I want it to be from top to bottom.
Like
H
E
L
L
O
So i click on orientation type tool at the top left. This just what it does is make the text to rotate to right side same as typing HELLO but rotate to right.
I can't find any solution anywhere. I live in China and I NEED this to happen

Thanks!

Hi Vic,

In Photoshop, you can change the orientation of the Text tool by clicking and holding on the tool in the Tool Box.  You will see a flyout menu appear with four options: Horizontal Type Tool (basically what we're doing now). Vertical Type Tool (your Hello example), Vertical Type Mask Tool (like the Vertical Tool, but to create selections), and the Horizontal Type Mask Tool (to create selections using "Western" text orientation).  To switch, simply choose the one you want.  You can also switch via shortcut key -- SHIFT+T on both Windows and Mac.

Thanks,
David
