Photoshop: Trouble with tech support with printing issue

I had a problem last week printing from Photoshop. It is now resolved with help from a non-Adobe guy. I did though spend several hours on the phone with one of your support team in India. He took over my Mac but couldn't work out what was wrong. Aside from uninstalling and reinstalling, loads of other things were tried. He still hasn't come back to me with a solution. The whole thing just needed a three finger startup to reset the 'prefs'. He had no idea about this. He was frankly the most uninformed person and I can;t see why he was paid to provide support. Please take this as feedback that some of your technical advisors need more training.

Thanks, Richard Chiswell

Hi Richard,

Sorry you had trouble. I'm looking through the case notes and it says he tried restoring the preferences. Very strange. I will follow up with the agent. Thanks for the follow-up.

Jeff hi,

I much appreciate your reply. This did cause me so much inconvenience. I even bought a new printer to see if (as he said) it was perhaps caused by the printer drivers for my old printer not being able to work properly with Yosemite. Hmm.

Interestingly the last he said to me last week was that he had sent details to the US to get a reply and would be coming back to me. So far one week has passed and nothing more from him. I think 'support' guys like this chap are a bad reflection for Adobe; anyhow enough said.

Regards, Richard
