I use lightroom on my iMac and make adjustments there and within Photoshop. Then I synchronize the images through a collection to my iPad. I rarely make adjustments on my iPad to any of my images. My problem is that the original synchronization works fine, then when I make changes to my image generally via Photoshop, plugins and lightroom, it won’t synchronize. The picture on my iPad is the original picture and the only way to get the adjusted picture is by deleting the folder and starting over with a new synchronized folder. Am I doing something wrong? It is becoming beyond frustrating and making lightroom on my iPad useless.

Let's start at the top then Ursula:

1. Which LR version are you using on your Mac? It'll show under Help menu > System Info, and it'll be something like 7.0 or 7.1.

2. What file type?

At first glance, it sounds like you're probably shooting raw, and adding the raw photos to the collection. Then you're editing in Photoshop or another external editor, which creates a new file, but you're not adding that new file to the synced collection.
