I have a problem with a synchronization between lightroom desktop and lightroom mobile. I synchronized a collections to the cloud and edited them on my android mobile. After sometime the collection on desktop is not synchronized at 100% with the cloud content. The desktop lightroom seems to by synchronized, but there are dozens photos that are different from the cloud version.
I spent some hours to get it works, because I am not willing to clear the cloud content. The synchronisation seems to me very unstable so I would like to find to unlock this problems without clearing the cloud everytime.
I found a particular photo that is in different state in the desktop and in the cloud. I tried:
a) removing lr.sync
b) editing photo in cloud (adding the starts)
c) editing photo in lightroom desktop (adding different number of stats)
d) resrtart the computer
e) pause and start synchronisation
f) unlog and logged again to adobe account

Nothing of it helped. It is still not synchronised. In cloud it is with pick flag and five stars and in desktop it is unpicked and two stars. There is no triple dots in the collections so the lightroom looks like fully synchronised even it is not.

Is there some other way which should I try?

I had a similar issue and I discovered it had to do with the new option of using Smart Previews, I put it off in the catalog performance options and it started syncing correctly.

Hi Michal,

Does this reflect properly in Lightroom Web ? By removing lr.sync, I assume you have removed the folder sync.lrdata (C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Caches\Sync Data\Sync.lrdata). Is that right ?

Thanks,
Arjun

Yes, in web (lightroom.adobe.com) is it same as on mobile. So the mobile application is synchronizing properly. Yes by folder sync.lrdata I mean exactly that.
