Lightroom CC: Synced and backed up checkmark looks horrible

The prominent checkmark next to my photos in non-classic (I refused to name this product by a subset of the words in the name of the other product which also happens to be the name of previous versions of the other product) looks terrible. At first I wondered how all of my photos had gotten "picked" but then I realized my mistake, but having a prominent check by all of my photos is utterly distracting. It's as large as the actually pick status, ratings etc but it's not conveying any information at all now since I'm all synced up (yay!) so I just have to ignore the bright white checkmark next to all of my photos.

Thanks for the input, Daniel. I've changed your post to an Idea so it gets logged as a feature request and others can vote on it.

The thing is, that checkmark will change according to the status of the image, which could be useful (well, at least I find it useful). If the icon is white, it means the full original file is uploaded and backed up, if the icon is cross-hatched it means only a Smart Preview is uploaded, and if the icon is blue it means the original is uploaded, backed up, and a copy is stored locally.
