i changed flags in about 300 pictures in lightroom-mobile-android-app to reject.
then i deleted this 300 pictures in lightroom-mobile-android-app.
At the next start of lightroom-classic-cc the sync stopped with this error message:
bad argument #1 to '?' (number expected, got nil).

i tried this: Classic -> Preferences -> Lightroom Sync -> Press alt/option -> Rebuild Sync data -> Lightroom restart -> sync activate -> problem not solved!

I changed the flags

Windows 10, lateste lr-classic-cc

I had a similar problem, re-installed the previous lightroom version (7.4), it re-synced the metadata of a few thousand photos and the error didn’t reappear(so far), even after I updated to 7.5 again

At the beginning it worked with the previous version of lr-classic-cc. But after syncing about 15.000 pictures about 65 pictures cann't be synced

Hi Hanneska,

What are those 65 images ? Do you see anything called All sync errors ?
Does this issue resolve when you clear Sync.lrdata ?

Steps to clear sync.lrdata
1. Go to Lightroom preferences -> Lightroom sync -> Hold alt/option key and click rebuild sync data

Thanks,
Arjun

Hy!

I don't see these images in lightroom-preferences -> lightroom sync....so i don't know whitch Images dosn't sync. But in the Cloud (App and web) there are 65 images less.

I tried the deletion of sync.lrdate two or three times, dosn't Work.

Thanks

Johannes

Could you please post a screenshot of where are you seeing that error ?
Also in Lightroom classic, is your All synced photographs showing 2062 or your All Photographs showing 2062 count ?

I have a similar problem in 7.5...”syncing 1 photo” continually showing. Checked preferences and browser. Did a re-sync. Still there.

I've got a similar problem - it's driving me nuts. I did some other tests and it seems like the error only happens with images that have synced to the LRCC on my mac. Feels like those folders that synced for the short period I had LRCC installed have had their Metadata corrupted. Maybe.
