Hello everyone. There is an issue with syncing which is clearly recognised by several users, according to my research.I also have the same issue: CC on my phone stuck forever while uploading pictures, and black placeholders appear on CC on the Web.And I tried all the solutions of restarting, closing down, clearing caches, reinstalling, all in various permutations. However the issue remains. Is Adobe going to work on this issue and provide a fix?I am using a Huawei Mate 20 pro, and this issue suddenly appeared around 7-14 days ago (some experience people may identify it any update was deployed at that time?).I am a user of Adobe products since years and these issues are annoying and waste a lot of time. Not to mention the money we pay for our subscriptions. I'd rather see less new exciting features and having a more stable and reliable work environment. Thanks to anyone who can help! Cheers.

Greetings Daniele,

How many images are showing in your pending sync from the phone?  Are the images showing as black placeholders on Lightroom web phone captures? phone edited images in another app? imported images from a camera connection kit?  Are you syncing via Cellular or Wifi?

Hello Rikk, and many thanks for your reply. My message in a bottle was picked up, thank you.

Replies, and an à update.

Number of images pending are (or should I say were) increasing every day. No new image would be uploaded. And the new images were automatically acquired but not uploaded.

Yes, the corresponding number showed as black placeholders in LR on the Web, and also showed in the list of sync issues in LR classic. I was able to remove them and restart the process, but without actually uploading the images, just the black placeholders.

No, the images were not imported via USB-on-the-go or a camera connected to the pc. They were all generated by the cell phone.

Yes, my "cellular connection" was off, as I am not traveling now and I can use work/home WiFi.

Indeed I gave it a try (I hadn't before), and after ticking in the option to upload using cellular network.... it started uploading, finally. After weeks!

I will also test what happens now if I turn it off again, but this time the issue has been solved.

I still hope to have a more stable environment. Despite summing up in a few lines, this issue took me hours of testing solutions and trying. All time which is lost for me, although useful for the global advances of LR! I understand it's a very complex suite, but, as said, I personally would rather see less fancy new options for a more stable general functioning, i.e. I would put more efforts in solving these issues.

Thanks for your time and for your questions, which prompted me an upteempth test that, eventually, magically solved the issue.

Cheers, Daniel

Hello. Back again.
The issue came up again yesterday.
205 pictures frozen and syncing since two days now. This time I tried the trick of disabling the WiFi and forcing the sync on cellular, but no success. I have to say that switching to cell seemingly forced the import of new pictures, but they are now pending in the infinite sync queue like last time.
What to do now?

Hello everyone. I had this issue on and off for all this time. Recently, I noticed that it seems to be connected to the "Auto add" feature. Once I off that option, syncing will restart again.
