Until the latest versions were launched, I uploaded my pictures from my dslr to my iPad Pro and importés and edited the images in Lightroom on the iPad. How can I synchronise these images to my desktop ? Hope your new version can improve this process. Best regards Jean Sanders

Your iPad still runs Lr Mobile (except it's now also called 'Lightroom CC'). The new Lightroom CC for the desktop is like Lightroom Mobile for the desktop, so everything will sync to that automatically. And if you were using Lightroom CC2015, then Lightroom Classic CC will be exactly the same application and sync the way you were used to.

I am trying this. I created a new catalog with Lightroom Classic. I connect that catalog to the cloud. I hope I can then import from that catalog into my 'regular' catalog with Lightroom Classic. This way, I don't need my regular catalog to be tied to the cloud. Haven't fully tested yet. One problem identified - it doesn't seem like the metadata like tags from the cloud get written to the desktop catalog. Some metadata comes but not all.

Tags as in keywords? Yes, keywords don't sync back to Classic. There's a feature request floating around here on that very topic, as many of us see it as a bad design decision.
