Sync Error

Exact Lightroom Version: Lightroom Classic CC 7.0.1
Operating System: Mac OS: High Sierra v.10.13

Well, I've seen the many complaints about this latest upgrade and thought, "Wow, It's working for me". That has changed. So far, these are the problems that I've been having.

Background: This is what I do. I created a smart collection for each year that is 3 stars or greater. As I rate my photos, the collection fills up. I also created a collection for each year for Lightroom to hold all my best shots (3 stars +) that is synced with Lightroom mobile (now Lightroom CC). After each shoot, I "Select All" from the smart collection and drop into the synced collection for the same year. This has been working flawlessly until Lightroom Classic. (NOTE: It would be easier to create a smart synced collection but that is not yet an option).

Question: IS there an easier way to do this?

Error #1:
There was an error changing modules.
Solution: I closed LR Classic and re-opened. The error has not resurfaced...yet.

Error #2:
One photo won't sync (Upload)
Solution: I changed the criteria so the photo would not be in my smart collection and I removed it from the synced collection. The sync error goes away. Then I give it 3 stars again and it shows up in the smart collection; so, now, I can copy it & put it in the synced collection and view it on my phone in Lightroom CC.

Error #3: One picture won't download. Therefore, I cannot close Lightroom unless I bypass the sync until LR is opened again. This problem surfaced after upgrading to LR Classic. After checking Preferences, the Lightroom CC tab, I see that there is a downloading error. I find this picture and remove it from Lightroom. It is still in the trash and I can't even put it back if I wanted too! It is a psd file. If I want this in LR, I'll have to re-create it. I emptied the trash bin; closed LR, chose backup, and re-opened. I also tried signing out of Adobe and signing back in and I changed the location under the Lightroom CC tab in Preferences with no change. The error is still there.
UNRESOLVED: HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS ERROR?

Error #4: I re-created the photo from error #3 that I deleted and imported it into LR and gave it 3 stars; but, it does not show up in my smart collection even though it meets the criteria.  This happens every once in a while and the only way that I can remedy this is to put the picture in the synced collection manually. Of course, I can't add it to any smart collection.
NO SOLUTION FOUND

I mainly need help with error #3.  Suggestions for the other errors would be appreciated also.  Even though I was able to resolve errors #1 and #2, I thought you should be aware of them.

I do not want to learn new software, so I sincerely hope that these problems get ironed out soon.  Thank you so much!
