Hello, would love to pay for the Slate app, let's say $10, to have the possibility to switch off the Adobe ad (footer) in each slate. As a photo pro, I need to have a pro looking tool. Ads at the bottom isn't proffessional... Btw - Slater is really great and I love it. Plan to use it for project newsletter etc. THANK you Adobe!
Best, Dietmar (bildwerkstatt.ch)

No, the feedback is not being ignored. But no, I don't think you'll be seeing an option to remove the bumper in the very near future. It's not that we're opposed to doing so, it's more a matter of prioritization. We just released Slate for web, that was a top priority as most of the planet are not iPad users. We have other updates to the products in the works, too, and all of those have been deemed higher priority for now.

Keep in mind that the bumper is Slate's biggest marketing and growth vehicle, and right now it is an important part of why Slate use is increasing. Turning off the bumper will thus also necessitate a change in how we market and promote the product.

While not promising anything, my gut feel is that we will indeed give you the option to remove the bumper in the future. While not the most requested Slate change (that distinction goes to video support) it is definitely high on the list. So I expect that it will happen. But with everything we have coming int he near future, it's going to take a big longer to get there.
