on both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom, in loupe view, the swipe gesture is misinterpreted as scrolling the photo ribbon and moving forward/backward dozens of images. This is not the expected behavior on a mac app, and is very impractical. swipe should switch to the next/previous photo.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Swiping between images.

I miss a better way to swipe between images in Loupe view or Full Screen view. On my MacBook I like to swipe from an image to the next with two fingers on the touchpad, but this is almost impossible today, because suddenly I have jumped over a bunch of images. Today there is no response that shows how fast we are moving the pictures.

So I wish to "see" that the images move when I am swiping them, like we can on the mobile phone. Or take a look at Apple Photos, that also has this feature.
