The Swatches panel needs some attention to bring it more inline with Illustrator and Indesign. I really do not see a reason why there are no swatch groups in Photoshop's version, you already have the code to do it in other products. While you're at it allow Gradients and even patterns to be stored in the Swatch Panel, again the code exists just use it. When searching online about this topic I see tons of people asking for this for years. It really does not make any sense on why its not done yet.

I would say that both Id and PS swatch panels should match illustrator. At this point, I make color palettes in illustrator exclusively then put them in CC and import them into PS and Id. However, when I bring the palette into PS they are placed into A SINGLE ROW OF SWATCHES SPANNING THE TOP OF THE PANEL!!!! Whose idea was that?
