ELEMENTS ORGANIZER - Support network drives

PSE13 Organizer will not connect to a new network drive. It continues to connect to the network drive I set up under PSE7 or 4 but it will not let me connect to a new drive so that I can move my photo collection to a new drive. Adobe support just told me that PSE does not support networked drives. This is nonsensical on several fronts. First, most Windows software makes no distinction between networked and internal drives as long as they have letters (are mapped). Therefore it must have taken Adobe extra effort to forbid the use of networked drives but for what purpose. Second, in this day of networked digital media devices permeating houses, there is a big desire to share and secure ones digital media, often on media servers. I keep all my music and videos on a Synology Diskstation NAS/Media Server to share with family members on all their devices and to centrally back up our media. I would like to keep my photo collection there, too, so that my wife and I can access them with Adobe or other software from any Smart TV, PC, smartphone, or tablet in the house. Why do you restrict me to keeping my photo collection on my PC's internal drive? This is insane!
