Photoshop: Superfluous dropdown controls when buttons are more efficient

Too many dropdowns, not enough buttons.

Often throughout the UI, there are dropdowns containing only 2 or 3 options.

Instead, substitute a group of buttons so all options are visible at once and selectable in ONE click.

Why make us dig in a dropdown and click twice? I can't even click and hold on a Photoshop dropdown to make it show it's options, drag to my needed option, then release. If this worked, it would help. But it doesn't work this way.

Here's a good example:

The new stroke options pulldown menu. Align, Caps and Corners all have 3 options. Replace their dropdowns with button groups to make the options more accessible.
