Please make Photoshop CC 2014 compatble with a capactive stylus on Windows 8.1. This feature would be especially useful (and MUCH quicker!) when using the quick selection tool. In Photoshop CC 2014's experimental features, "use touch gestures" has no effect on the capacitive stylus when performing a quick selection tool task.

On a side note, this feature works GREAT on Photoshop Touch! However, I do the 99% of my photo editing from my laptop.

Photoshop CC 2014 is already compatible with any stylus that uses the Windows Ink APIs.

If your tablet device is not working in Photoshop, please contact the tablet maker for updated driver software.

I'm using Windows 8.1 from an Asus laptop. From what I could gather on Google, Windows Ink appears to be tablet-related only. Recent Windows and Asus updates have done nothing to make the stylus work in Photoshop CC 2014.

ink is also related to touch events, and a stylus is the same as a tablet device.

A capacitive stylus isn't a a tablet. It's used on tablets, smart phones, and touch screen lap tops, often preferred by those with "fat" fingers. I can't, for the life of me, get Photoshop to respond when using a stylus while using the Quick Selection or Magic Wand tool.

Again, this means that something is wrong with the driver for your tablet/stylus - you need to contact the device maker and see if they have an update to fix the bugs in their driver code.

And the OS treats all stylus/tablets the same way.
