Suggested file system corrections for LR4.2

Please include a Lightroom catalogue feature allowing sort by file and image size, as well as finding exact duplicates that include the same database entries for corrections. We need to find a way to reduce the amount of duplication that clutters up the catalogue when a disk is scanned and all images are imported. We also need to be able to sort by longest edge pixel size as well as file size.

We also need a way to compare large blocks of files to eliminate duplicates that have been imported. One of the problems with LR is that it's too hardest to identify the prime file and discard discard duplicates needed for short term situations. I've been forced to do this manually recently with a nearly 60,000 file database from scanning my hard disk and it's unnecessarily time consuming, very much so.

Also, if the image files are held on a network file server accessed by different computers, then there should be an option to import the newest settings on to the other computers. This is needed because you don't allow everyone to access a single catalogue on a network. Allowing each user to optionally preserve their own settings or make a clearly identified virtual copy for themselves would be helpful. Simultaneous access to a file, as in a true multi-user application, is not really needed, but synching optionally database correction settings across multiple systems is sorely needed.
