Subscription Cancellation - Why Wait for Chat??

Don't understand why I cannot cancel my subscription online and have to wait for a support person to chat to me about it - waited for 40 minutes and gave up. It's 2015 Adobe - get with the times!

Because there may be a cancellation fee and they want to confirm on person that you're ok with that and give you a chance to change your mind, of course.
