Scroll in cs5 with scroll wheel doesn't work the way it did in cs4. It is all choppy and goes in huge increments instead of smoothly scrolling like it used to! HELP!!

How do i fix it so the scroll wheel behave like it did in cs4? It's driving me crazy the scroll wheel causes photoshop to jump from 100% to 65% or 125% if i scroll out. I need it to be smooth like it was in cs4, so please tell me how to adjust it so it behaves like it should. I feel like i downgraded while spending $600 on an upgrade!

I posted this already and I'm still waiting for Adobe to call me back, but this is stupid! I need zoom to be smooth and it's choppy as he double hockey when using CS5.1 on the mac. I try to zoom in or out smoothly and it is jumping all over the freaking place. I scroll slowly and it zooms to 25% or more either out or in. In CS4, it is nice and smooth going in increments of 2-5%, but CS5 SUCKS!!!!! It's unusable the way it jumps around. SOMEBODY please tell me how to fix this. There is already a question on the stupid zoom not working with the scroll wheel when i have the lasso tool selected. That used to work in CS4, but not CS5 for mac. BUT now that I have given up on an asnwer from adobe (YOU GUYS HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!) I want to know how I fix the regular zoom! This is stupid that it is happening, but someone else has to have had this problem.

Photoshop cs5.1 for mac is not zooming correctly!.

Sorry Paul. I looked at this with QE. It looks like a difference from the change from Carbon to Cocoa APIs. They're investigating where exactly the issue is.

Like i stated in other threads, the Scrubby zoom is fine, but I cannot zoom without the picture jumping to severe percentages with either the magic mouse or touchpad. . I installed PS5.1 trial edition on another mac and it did -exactly the same thing, so the problem seems to be the software and macbook Pros.

My other machine is Macbook Pro 2.2GHz I7 with 8GB ram running Lion, compared with my the other computer running 10.6.8. Completely different machines and operating Systems, but the same problem...

Well thanks for the response and I feel a lot better knowing that you guys have identified it is a problem. Please let me know when you come up with a fix as I really wish I would not have bought this product for as many problems i've had with it and trying to resolve it.
