Lightroom: LR4 Beta: Issue using CR2 file from a Canon 5D Mark II

I want to report a problem with using Lightroom 4 on a particular Canon CR2 file from a Canon 5D Mark II. LR 4 works on all other CR2 files from this camera including files taken immediately before and after it. CS5 and DxO can process the file without difficulty.

Where does one go to provide feedback to LR 4 beta? It seems tha Adobe has made this needlessly difficult.

I tried to join Adobe forum, but was told that any screen name I typed in was unavailable. I tried at least 10 and some were totally random. I will bet big money that most really were available.

Can you post the CR2 files somewhere (Dropbox, etc) for us to look at?

As per your other issue with logging into the U2U forum, see this thread:

I could post the CR2 file if necessary but some further research has led me to believe that is not the problem. I decided to erase the Lightroom catalog to see what effect that would have. Lightroom worked fine on the file at that time.

I had also played with the file in Photoshop and Lightoom appears to me to read the Photoshop sidecar file. I had adjusted the file in both Lightroom and Photoshop. Could this have caused the problem?

Possibly. I would try and recreate the steps to try and reproduce the problem. I would be interested to know more if you can get it to happen again with reliable steps.

I meant to say that Lightroom worked fine after I erased the catalog and then imported the files to a new catalog.
