Lightroom: Storing data about exports

I've a lot of export presets which cannot be substituted by publish services. When using this exports I cannot track, select or filter photos in LR. I would like to have the ability to set keywords or some metadata fields in LR and store them in export presets, so I can create smart collections and filter and search for exported photos. Without the need to add keywords/metadata manually.

Just to be clear, I don't want to add keywords or metadata to the actual exported photo, but within the Lightroom catalog.

Good idea. As it stands, an export entry is placed in the history list, with a generic "Export {date}". I too would like to be able to control the name of the export in the history list, and also have the export name & date be available as metadata (for filtering/smart-collection). Export name defaulting to preset name or export service name, or something like that...

This is exactly what i also want.

I do a private blog to our family and when ever i export photos to this blog with export function i would like to have the export preset to add keywords for the photos that were selected to be exported. This way i could have smart collection for all the photos that are in my blog. I believe this would be an easy addon.

Even better would be functionality that automatically would write the name of the export preset to the photos that were selected to the export. Not necessary to the keywords, but in the database so that this could be searchable by default without manually having to add keywords to export presets. Of course having both of these options would be ideal.

After writing this i see Rob Cole already suggested the automatic feature.
