Photoshop: Stop new document preset defaulting to clipboard content

When I create a new document, I want to use the last document preset but if I have content on my clipboard, Photoshop automatically assumes I want the new document preset to be based on the clipboard content.

While this is *occasionally* the case, more often than not, it is not the right guess (and Photoshop is guessing). For example, I may have been working on a document in Word and have text on the clipboard.

On the occasions when I do want to base the new document on the clipboard contents, then I can easily do so by choosing Clipboard from the Preset menu.

I daresay the change would break a few workflows but those workflows are based on Photoshop guessing. An interface that doesn't intervene by guessing is always more useful and welcome, IMO.

Please let me decide how I want to use the interface.

This drives me crazy, I wish there were at least an option to disable this!
