Photoshop: How do I stop showing tutorial videos while I'm trying to use the app?

I'm in the middle of using Photoshop and select the wand tool, and suddenly a tutorial video pops up on top of Photoshop while I'm using it, as if I haven't been using the wand tool for years.

You say: "The video was showing you a new feature!" I don't know what it was saying, because I angrily closed the video without looking at it. Why? I was *in the middle of using photoshop*, not watching videos. I had something to get done, and this got in the way. It's a completely useless way to try to tell users anything, because you're shoving it in their face as they're trying to do something else.

I hope this isn't a sign of what the future holds for Photoshop. Get rid of this intrusive, distracting nonsense.

Hi Glenn,

What you're seeing are help messages for particular features. These can be disabled by selecting Preferences > General and unchecking "Show Messages"
