Photoshop: Step backward key command not working - multiple undos keyboard command not available

I have recently migrated from one mac to another and updated to CC2014 and now I have no ability to use the cmd+opt+z keyboard command to step backward through history. Is anyone having this problem or aware of it?

Additionally if I go into keyboard shortcuts and reassign a different command it works find but if I try to type the old command back in it won't let me. Stepping back through the file menu also works fine btw.

Would be great to have a solution to this to save constant frustration.

Thanks

James

Hi James,

What OS are you running?  Have you updated your Photoshop to the latest version?  Are you still having this problem?

What you're describing is new and I haven't heard of any, similar complaints.  But I would be happy to assist you with it.

Thanks,
David

Hey David,

Thanks for the email. I actually located the issue by chance in the end. It was an app called spectacles that utilised the same shortcut cmd + option + Z therefore rendering the Photoshop command null as Spectacles opens on startup.

I hope this helps other people out there it was driving me crazy?!

Thanks

James
