There is no way to see only the individual star ratings. Let's say I mark the best shots with a 5 star rating. Then I mark the next best with a 4 or 3 or 2, etc. star rating. Is there a way to separate and view only 1,2,3, or 4 star ratings without viewing all of the higher ratings?

Yes, you can do this in Lightroom, Howard. In the Library module, press \ to open the Library filter bar. Select Attribute. Click the symbol to the right of the word Rating and look at the pop-up menu. You can filter star ratings by the criteria greater than, less than, or equal to. Choose Rating Is Equal To. Then choose the number of stars. Presto. Lightroom shows you only the photos with that star rating, nothing more, nothing less.

For more info ways to filter photos, see the Help topic Find photos using the Library Filter bar.

And that is easy to do in Bridge by selecting which star ratings you want to see in the Filter Panel, under Ratings. Just put a checkmark by the ones you want to see.
