Lightroom 4: Bug in text filter

I just been transferring my Title fields to IPTC:Header fields for consistency, and noticed a bug in the filter handling. Searching/filtering all photos in my collection, I set the filter to: Title contains "t", and the results showed all photos, effectively not performing any filtering at all. Other letters seem to filter ok, but for some reason "t" causes this anomaly.

Curiously, after assigning a Title to an photo with the letter "t" in (while the filter was active), then removing the title, the photo was removed from the results, while the rest stayed.

I'm using Lightroom 4.0 for OS X.

There certainly appears to be something funny going on with the text filter in this case. Using the filter bar I can confirm similar behavior in LR4.1RC on a Mac. In my brief tests, the filter doesn't return all images in the library, but rather a majority of them. I also don't see this behavior using other single letters. It's behaving like the text filter is not limiting itself to the Title field in this case.

Interestingly, this filter behaves the same way in LR3.6. Wonder how long this has been around?
