When I am cutting out an image and putting on top of another, I can see the transparent layer under my image, creating distortion. I am using Intel Iris Pro as video card, and can't see any available updates.

If you save the file (with a different name to be safe) does the file open with the same problem?

Does the same problem happen if you disable "Use Graphics Processor" under Preferences>Performance... and restart Photoshop?

Yes, the file opens with the same problem. I tried to process the picture on an other computer with no problem.

I went to system preferences, but can't find Performance. Sorry new computer. Can you give me the step to disconnect it, please?

On the right side, where it says "Graphics Processor Settings" and "Use Graphics Processor".

To be more specific, I need to know what version of Photoshop you are using.

Ah. Elements is not the same thing as Photoshop.
I'm not sure if Elements even has controls for the GPU.
