Bridge: special user folders broken in Bridge CS5 win

We use special namespace folders to give access to our projects. By editing the registry you can make new icons appear under Computer, network, or desktop. These links also show up in Bridge CS5 the same way they do in windows explorer. However I just noticed if the CLSID is defined under HKCU not HKLM, the link is broken. I believe this to be a bug. Bridge should be using HKCR (hkey_classes_root) to get the aggragate of the two CLSID hives.

This is how it works.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{00000000-0000-0000-1002-555345524944}]
@="Current Project"
"InfoTip"="projects"
"{305ca226-d286-468e-b848-2b2e8e697b74}"=dword:ffffffff
"SearchHelper"="ShellObjectEditor: "
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{00000000-0000-0000-1002-555 345524944}\DefaultIcon]
@="%SystemRoot%\\system32\\shell32.dll,42"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{00000000-0000-0000-1002-555 345524944}\Instance\InitPropertyBag]
"Attributes"=dword:00000015

"Target"=hex(2):63,00,3a,00,5c,00,70,00,72,00,6f,00,6a,00,65,00,63,00, 74,00,73,\
00,00,00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ MyComputer\NameSpace\{00000000-0000-0000-1002-555345524944}]

The first part describes the link, and the second part tells "my computer" to add that link as a child. This system has worked great for years. But now we want to make links specific to the user. So I need to edit HKCU no HKLM, but now I get broken white icons in Bridge.
