Importing from iphone, sort by media type in the import dialog does nothing. I assume it is supposed to sort the image files and the movie files separately, but it doesn't.

It looks like Media Type and File Name might be switched around. When I try it, it sorts by Media Type if I choose File Name.

Try it and see if it works that way on your system.

Either Way, I have bugged it.

Yes. I think you're right. Media Type and File Name seem switched.

Also sort by 'checked state' only seem to work for manually checked or unchecked files. Doesn't seem to do anything for those automatically unchecked by the 'do not import duplicates' toggle. Doesn't seem right, but may be it is by design?

I've already got a bug in on the checked state ignoring duplicates.

Lightroom 6.14: Import -> Sort by "Media Type", does not work on iPhone import. MOV, DNG, JPG remain random order.
