I recently bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-RX10 with an outstanding Vario Sonnar f/2.8 lens. I hope this lens will be included in the next update of Lightroom's lens profiles.

For your type of camera, the lens profiles are likely built into LR and always on so there is no need to select them. What's happened over the last few years is that cameras, especially non-DSLR cameras, apply lens corrections to their JPGs automatically, and Adobe has replicated this in their raw converter.

The ACR 8.4 plug-in for Photoshop actually tells you that it is using a built-in profile, but so far LR doesn't. Maybe they'll add this when they're not so busy getting LR Mobile to work.

If you want to upload a raw photo from your camera via somewhere like www.dropbox.com then I or someone else can check the photo in ACR to see if it indicates a built-in profile is being used or not.

Thanks for your swift reply.
Above is the dropbox link to a photo (raw file) shot yesterday with the DSC-RX10.
