Is there a point of contact with Camera Raw that I can help expidite support for the Sony A9 ii?

I work for Sony, and we have professionals utilizing the camera that typically use Camera Raw as part of their workflow.

Let me know if i can provide information that will help with this process/

Regards,

David

A public beta of the Adobe DNG Converter version 12.1 is now available for downloading. Preliminary support for the Sony A9ii is included in this beta.

I’ve been using Sony’s Edge Viewer to select my frames. I then export 16bit TIFFs and import them into LR. I’m doing this for my a9ii

After some six weeks, we should not be talking about workarounds Lightroom for the top of the range camera from Sony! Does anyone have any idea when can we expect full implementation in Lightroom? As Aaron says, the kludge with the exif shows the files are not so different.

Absolutely agree that this is ridiculous.  Unless Sony made a deal with Capture One there is no reason that we still don't have LR support for the A9ii.  I talked with Adobe support and they said they just had an update a couple weeks ago and the next one will be at the end of January. Mind blown.

Really poor job Adobe... the Sony A9II is in use by many of us who are professionals and who also use your LR/PS workflow.  The 'workaround' is clumsy and you and Sony need to support your customers better...

As before I have switched over to Capture One Pro 12. It beats Lightroom for speed when you have tight workflow etc and you can even further export file to Photoshop for further editing etc.
