When I work on some psd files, the application seems very slow (cpu & memory are ok)
The files are sometimes smaller in size than larger files which work ok.

Not without a lot more details:
Which product are you using?
Which version?

What kinds of contents are in those files?

Also remember that the size on disk is compressed - and the size in memory may be much, much larger.

Hi Chris,
I think I've Isolated the problem: Only when I create new shape, it starts to work very slow, I can't move objects smoothly, can't transform smoothly, and each click takes too much time to respond.

Oddly, when I drag an old shape (from an older file) to the new file, it works just right. The problem started about two weeks ago.

Also, there are few more bugs that suddenly appeared, but they come and go randomly.
One of them is when I unlock the mask from its layer and transform the layer, it transforms the mask as well.

The contents in my files are photo images, digital papers and elements, shapes and brushes... regular stuff.

I appreciate your help,
Efrat.
