telugu language could not be supported by the latest versions of photoshop. please include the same feature as photoshop 7 inTo the latest versions of photoshop.
While i am working in PS7, it supports telugu language. there is no any prob in PS7, but i am facing problem when i am going to latest version. what is the differencE b/n older and latest?
A version is upgrading means we should maintain the same characteristicS as older and choose to include extra options, but not removing some qualities. thanks.

It is very unlikely that PS7 had any support for Telugu or any other Indic language. It was, actually, during the PS9/CS2 cycle that we finalized support for Eastern European languages, such as Russian, Greek, and Turkish. While the engine did handle Unicode text, it did NOT support most IMEs nor any complex scripts.

I would imagine that the version of Photoshop that you have is WinSoft's Middle Eastern edition. That particular version does offer limited support for complex scripts and right-to-left writing, although I do not believe Telugu is officially supported.

Support for Indic language is something we are currently investigating, but at this time there is no support for them in the core application.
