Lightroom classic: Some iOS Live Photos are not recognised and displayed with green preview instead

Some iOS Live Photos (the .mov part) are not recognised ad displayed with green preview instead; when I try to run it only white noise will be displayed.

Grid view looks like this; as you see some of the .mov files are not displayed, but the one in the lower right corner is. I found no pattern to explain this yet:

The SysInfo posted is from the older version of LR.  Maybe the shortcut/icon used to start it is the wrong one?

You are right - I accidentally started the old version even after the update via Creative Cloud  (which I now have removed - why is this not done automatically?). But the probleam remains existent with the new version too; see SysInfo:

If you try to play one of the green-preview MOVs OUTSIDE of LR, does it work, or is the file corrupted?

When I open it in the Loupe View I can play it OK. This is new after the upgrade, thank you for reminding me of testing this (before it only played white noise)!

+++ UPDATE +++
Since the above observation points to a corrupt preview of the .mov I removed the complete footage from the catalog (and disk) and re-imported it again - and now

This issue has been fixed in Lightroom Classic 7.0.
Please let us know which version you used to import the images? Did you use a previous version and then upgraded the catalog?

Hi Sunil,

yes, in that order ... 

... I imported the images with above "Lightroom version: CC 2015.12 [ 1125239 ]"
... then upgraded to "Lightroom Classic version: 7.0.1 [ 1142117 ]"
... catalog was upgraded automatically

now in the Grid View the previews were still green, but in the Loupe View the Live Images were played correctly

... synchronized the folder

no change

... deleted the Live Images from the catalog and re-imported them into the catalog

now everything works as expected.

The issue is fixed in the latest version. You shouldn't face this issue if you import using Lightroom Classic.
