Lightroom: Some features I'd love to see!

#1 - The addition of layers, of course.

#2 - Ability to make rectangular selections

#3 - Ability to take dramatic control of focus: a photo that is sharp overall could be made as blurry as you wish, narrowing the point of focus to any point. Yes, I am aware the the clarity slider can attempt this, but I'd like to see something much for powerful that is designed for this specifically.

#4 - the overall interface of having to work between 'modules' is cumbersome. If it could be more unified somehow that would be welcome. I move frequently between folders and collections. It's not a smooth process. Just one example.

Get the Nik Collection for focus/defocus control, using Analog Efex Pro 2, and Viveza 2. The Luminar Flex plugin for LR allows you to use layers (and like Photoshop you get back a TIFF).

Thanks so much, Carlos! I'd like to see Adobe incorporate these features directly within LR Classic and LR.

But then how do Dx0 and Skylum employees make a living? What's easier for us isn't necessarily the socially correct thing to do.
